SCQH

One sentence each (a short paragraph at most). See Situation, Complication, Question, Hypothesis.

• Situation: Facts everyone would agree on. Where are we now? Not what is wrong.
• Complication: What is stopping us, or what has changed? This creates the tension.
• Question: What do we need to work out or decide? Make it specific enough to answer.
• Hypothesis: Our best current guess at the answer. Optional at first; it is fine to have only a question.

Issue tree

Break the question into the sub-questions you would need to answer to answer it. Nest them. Keep unanswered questions unanswered; when one is answered, append ✅ Answer. on the same line.

Plan of work
