Tao issue tracker audit — 25 September 2026

Finding and recommendation

The Tao issue tracker has zero open issues. GitHub reports four issues total, all closed. No issue needs closing, transferring, or reopening. Keep Tao Issues available for concrete Tao handbook or site maintenance; route planning and agent work to Beads here, and team execution to the project's existing GitHub or Asana tracker under the workflow. A Tao issue is not a project-registration step.

#24 Portfolio Map	Closed as completed on 4 May 2026. Historical Tao portfolio-map work; keep the closed issue as source context. The portfolio reconciliation likewise treats the spreadsheet's Portfolio Map row as predecessor evidence, not current infrastructure delivery. The current planning portfolio and reading view live here; Beads `lip-tqk` owns further planning-system work. No new Tao task.
#8 Strategy-to-Tao migration	Closed as completed on 23 April 2026 with a completion comment and commit. Preserve its source plans and migration history. Its proposal that Tao be the single knowledge base is historical; the current workflow governs portfolio and task routing. The comment lists manual follow-ups but is not evidence that they remain outstanding today; do not recreate them without a fresh check.
#6 Duplicate Markdown code blocks	Closed WONTFIX on 8 November 2022 with an explanation. It is a Tao site rendering bug, so Tao would be the proper tracker if the symptom is reproduced again. No current evidence supports reopening it.
#5 Typos, links and minor bugs	Closed as completed on 12 May 2022. Its remaining rendering symptom was moved to #6. Keep it closed as historical Tao site maintenance.

There are no ambiguous open commitments to ask an owner about. This audit changes no GitHub issues and creates no duplicate execution queue. Source check: gh api repos/life-itself/tao reported open_issues_count: 0; gh issue list -R life-itself/tao --state all returned only #24, #8, #6, and #5, each closed.
