Strategy (folded in 2026-09-25)

Life Itself Strategy no longer has its own initiative file (formerly initiatives/life-itself-strategy.md) — developing, presenting and maintaining the Life Itself strategy is tracked here instead. The related "finish and publish the 2026 strategy" project was deleted separately as having nothing left in it. Note: github.com/life-itself/strategy exists but is marked "DEP - moved to Tao!"; current strategy material lives in the tao repo instead.

Repos

Primary repo is this planning repo (github.com/life-itself/planning) — the actual coordination/management work happens here. Also relevant: github.com/life-itself/tao ("The Dao of Life Itself", https://tao.lifeitself.org/), the prior home for strategic planning material before this repo existed; per Rufus, worth listing here even though it's not the current primary. Not set as the github field since planning is the current one.

A local ~/src/life-itself/management-lifeitself checkout also exists, but its remote is rufuspollockorg/management-lifeitself — a different GitHub org, likely Rufus's own rather than the org's canonical one. Not asserted as this initiative's repo without confirming that's intended.
